Matai Bay, at the end of the Karikari Peninsular, is a stunning beach and well worth a visit. On the way you could get a round of golf at the Carrington Club, sample some wine at Karikari Estate and check out the pink sands of Cable Bay. Coopers Beach is a 20 minute drive away and has a larger Four Square, a liquor shop and pharmacy. This is where we usually go for groceries.
