Meat pies (empanadas) are exceptionally good. Get your coffee and empanadas to go and then walk down to the end of Newport Ave and enjoy them from the sea wall overlooking the beach at the end of Newport Ave.

Great Cuban coffee and pastries. My favs are the Guava Y Queso danish and the rasberry scone with passion fruit icing.

Cafe con Leche y Guayaba Pastelito...take it to go and walk up and down Newport, check out the antique stores and then park it on the beach and enjoy the view.
