Get coffee first. Grab a soda from inside. Second floor couches facing the water. Then walk out into the field. Enjoy the few especially Just after sunset. Sometimes they have Freemovies on the lawn at night.

“The Long Island Museum has a great art museum, a carriage museum, an old schoolhouse and historic cemetery. You may notice a gravestone for "OC" aka "Office Cat." Office Cat was a beloved member of the LIM family and when he passed in the 80s, the staff broke with museum protocol and buried him near the historic cemetary. I went for the first time last week and will be back. So much fun!”
