Stamford Bridge has so much to offer with some lovely places to eat and drink and a surrounding area that is just waiting to be explored. The wonderful city of York is then only 20 mins drive away, with numerous buses if you don't feel like driving! River View provides the perfect base for making the most of all this. The property has been lovingly refurbished by its owners who have given every thought to the comfort of the guests. There are 3 bedrooms, all including plenty of hanging space. There is a double bedroom to the front of the property, a good sized single room to the rear and a further bedroom in the attic area that can be made up as either a double or a twin room. There is a family bathroom on the first floor with a separate walk in shower, and a lovely big double ended bath to relax in! Downstairs you have an open plan living/dining area with plenty of space to all sit together for those nights where you just want to relax and watch TV in front of the wood burning stove. At the rear there is a lovely big dining table that will seat 6, perfect for you all to be together. There is also a fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is also a downstairs cloakroom to the rear of the property. The owners have also provided a separate laundry room accessed from the courtyard that has a washing machine and tumble drier and space for you to put outside wear and wellies after a day spent exploring! Outside is a private courtyard with outside furniture and a BBQ, perfect for those lovely long summer evenings! For family or friends this cottage is perfect for a combined town and country break, the very best of both worlds in the very nicest of environments!

Our detached house is in a quiet street in the pretty village, Stamford Bridge, which has plenty of local amenities and is just 8 miles from York and on a good bus route to the city. Cycle Route 66 is very near. We have one very friendly cat! The family bathroom has a large bath and power shower. There is wifi, a lounge/dining room with a TV, large kitchen, utility room, downstairs cloakroom, conservatory, pleasant garden, garage and driveway. Please ask if you need any further information.
