A favourite walk, along the 'cob' at Malltraeth and on into Newborough forest. This is a salt marsh estuary and a haven for birds. The path is paved and raised above the sea level

The church dates back to the 9th Century and offers beautiful views down on to the estuary. A ten minute walk from the house. There are many ancient churches worth seeing on the island.

Cors Ddyga RSPB site - on old workings of coal mine and salt marsh. Car Park -Good 30 min circular walk or cycle there via the Cefni footpath along the river towards Llangefni. The walk along 'the cob' in Malltraeth is also a great birdwatching location.
