This place not only has the best burgers I have ever tasted, they also have the best chicken i have ever tasted. Go for either the Dirty Bacon with some kind of fries or the chicken and feel free use the Chicken Shop sauce in the fridge. Its from this place and its delicious!

If you don't mind queuing it is about 10 mins walk from the flat, but if your feeling lazy, download the 'deliveroo' app and order it to be brought here. Its seriously good curry!!!!

This is such a great pub, East London has been gentrified to a large extend but this place has kept its independant charm and weathered the storm of makeovers. Its has been owned by the same lady for years and her son is usually behind the bar, there is usually live music at the weekends and the vibe is so good. It dates back to the seventeenth century and sometimes the doors get locked and you can stay there until the very early hours. One of my favourite pubs in London

You could get the train to Wapping but its pretty pointless as it won't be much quicker. The pub is on the river and it is beautiful in the summer. Food is pretty standard pub food, drinks are normal London prices. You really feel the history when you are there.

The Prospect of Whitby

Take a bike if you want to get quickly. You could get the train to Wapping but its pretty pointless as it won't be much quicker. The pub is on the river and it is beautiful in the summer. Food is pretty standard pub food, drinks are normal London prices. You really feel the history when you are there.

Arts & Culture
We are really lucky to have this great independent cinema so close. If you go leave time for a drink in the really nice art deco bar upstairs and take a delicious hot dog into the film with you. Its a real treat of a cinema! Half price on Mondays!!!

This is a must visit bit of London, the South Bank is where I always take new visitors. Go to the new section of the gallery and up to the viewing area, The views of London are spectacular and its all free!!!

I'm sorry to say I've never been but I've been told its excellent. I think it would take about 20 mins to walk there. Lots of nice little Coffee opportunities on the way, or save it until your there.

Sightseeing
I only did this for the first time recently. I took both my Sisters and all their children and we had such a good day. Get the DLR to Island Gardens and walk under the Greenwich foot tunnel which is fantastic, if you don't want to walk under the river stay on the DLR to Greenwich. Stroll around the Cutty Sark and the grounds of the Naval Collage (if it is a weekend look around Greenwich Market, so many nice things), then walk up to the entrance of the park and up the hill to the observatory. I have never been in but I've heard its good. From up there you have a fantastic view of East London. Both Canary Wharf and the city. Its very nice. There are loads of nice pubs around there as well.

This has so many things to do. Amazing in the summer for children, and for the adults there are incredible sports facilities (obviously). The olympic pool is well worth a visit. Check there timetable so you can go diving from the diving boards, its brilliant! There is cycling, climbing, swimming, walking and a massive Westfield shopping centre if you like that sort of thing.
