Food Scene
The villa attendants are also available to assist you with buying groceries and cooking your meals – you are more than welcome to join the cooking process. You will only be charged according to the grocery receipts but be mindful that we are not a restaurant so we cannot buy just a few slices of bread or a glass of milk. We also charge an extra contribution of Rp 100.000++ (subject to 15% government tax and service charge) per dinner per villa as our villa attendants have to work longer than her working hour to prepare the dinner. The security guard works from 17:00 until 08:00 every day. Please note that the villa does not have a professional kitchen, so it is a bit difficult to prepare more than 3 different dishes simultaneously.

The restaurant is specialized in Mediterranean and Indonesian cuisine. There are plenty of vegetarian options and a good range of dishes for the children as well.

The restaurant is a unique structure made from five huge logs, each 33m long and 80cm in diameter, offering incredible 360o picturesque view over the West Bali National Park and the ocean from the fourth floor and the fifth floor viewing platform. The restaurant is specialized in Mediterranean and Indonesian cuisine. There are plenty of vegetarian options and a good range of dishes for the children as well.
It is located in the same area as Bali Tower Restaurant. A safari car will take you to the restaurant through the national park with a chance to see deers, birds, or jungle fowl. They offer seafood dishes and barbecue grill. You can choose to dine on the wooden deck with gentle waves by the beach or in secluded gazebos intimately located within the mangrove maze. The cozy barefoot bar and lounge Azur is completed by the beach bean-bags, candles and chill-out music.

It is located in the same area as Bali Tower Restaurant. A safari car will take you to the restaurant through the national park with a chance to see deers, birds, or jungle fowl. The Octagon is the heart of the dining facilities at Plataran Menjangan – 10 minute drive from the villa. The reason it is named the Octagon is simply because it is shaped like one. It is comprised of three levels, each level offering a view that no camera can even do justice.

Warung Lesehan Karang Impian is a small local seafood restaurant in Melaya. It is around 15 minute drive from The Melaya Villas. Situated by the beach you can opt having your meal crossing leg style at the raised wooden / bamboo bale or at the usual wooden table. They always serve fresh fishes and other seafood menu.

Luvi Pitstop and Rest Area is only 10 minute drive from The Melaya Villas. The cafe offers various choices coffee from all over Indonesia. They also serve Indonesian dishes mostly from West Java and Bali.

Only a small percentage of the total area of the park is open to visitors, and this rule must be respected. There are two key ways to explore the park: either hiking the trails or concentrating on marine aspects.
