This is the coolest place! Essentially, this is a food truck located within a garden nursery. Al Fresco dining, yet under cover. Charming. Locally sourced food, vegetarian menu. Unique and wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Check their website, I believe they are only open for lunch until 4pm. They do have special dinner nights. Usually a themed event on Wednesdays.

The Hawkeye Bar and Grill is located in the lower level of the Otesaga Resort Hotel. While the food is not exceptional, the setting is. If you wish to enjoy a decadent glass of wine, or a meal in a lakefront setting, this place is sure to please. I often stop for a glass of wine while sitting at the huge propane firepit. Many nights during the summer, there will be live music in the Templeton Lounge.
If you wish to dock your boat at their dock, just call ahead and let them know you're coming. You can cruise down, dock, enjoy an evening, and head back home in the moonlight. Fabulous evening...guaranteed!

Personal favorite! From the main road, this looks like a well-maintained operating farm. Once inside, you begin to discover just how sweet this place is. There is a working blacksmith shop (so cool to watch!), an old schoolhouse, general store, the Bump Tavern, live animals, carousel, the famed Cardiff Giant, printing press, weaving loom, hops farm, horse-drawn wagon rides, etc. Awesome place for families.
