The best restaurant I've been to in the Guanica Area. The owner was the head chef at an expensive resort near our place before he opened Umami. Food is excellent, staff is great, prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. A great day trip to visit the beach at Playa Santa then have an excellent lunch or dinner.

Umami Restaurant Guánica

A nice undeveloped beach just a short drive from our house. It is crescent moon shaped with a backdrop of palm trees.

Known locally as Guilligans Island, it is a mangrove island that is a very popular attraction with a good beach, swimming, and snorkeling. The ferry to the island is walking distance from the house.
