Next to the Eusesbius church with a nice view on the church it is a good place to sit on a terras and watch people. They serve good food. And it is only 2.1 km from our house, so you can easily walk there.

Very lovely place run by two ladies. It serves great bakery with your coffee. I can definately recommend to have a stop here to relax a bit.

A city park with beautiful old buildings. There are always people chilling in the grass. In the weekends there is during the summer tons of activities such as homemade markets, festivals, art exhibitions, music and more. With good weather you should definately stop here.

Very nice old castle surrounded by water. It is part of Park Zypendaal which is connected to Park Sonsbeek. Great place to picknick, enjoy the sun, go to festival or activity or just take good walk in nature.

Walk from the house straight into nature. See the wild horses and walk as far as you can and take the bus back. You will have a beautiful view on the city center at the other side of the river.
It is also a good place to swim when it is very warm. Many people will be at the small lakes that have been formed by the river Rijn.

Definately have a drink here. It is located at the Rijn on the other side of the river. You can see the boats passing by while enjoying a cocktail. If it is not suitable to sit outside, inside is even better. There are fireplaces and many couches. The food is great. Definately try the finger food.
