Can hike there easy or hard, if you select hard, it is quite steep in spots. Great views and the lakes are so pretty, especially when the sun is hitting them. Beautiful blue and green.

Historic because it is the birthplace of Banff National Park. Make sure you visit the Cave with the Basin, but also take the time to do the nature walk to the marshes below. Sometimes you get lucky enough to see wildlife or catch a glimpse of the garter snakes that live there due to the natural hot springs.
