This restaurant has the most incredible views of the cove and when it's clear, of Mt. Baker. It's gorgeous. The food has improved so much it has become one of my favorite restaurants. It's only about 3 minutes from us. In the summer the lawn seating is exceptional! This restaurant also services an interesting breakfast :o)

This is a fantastic place for breakfast. Lunch is good too but breakfast is spectacular! You can watch the Coupeville-PortTownsend ferry come and go and watch the sea :o)

If you love mussels we highly recommend this restaurant and the cocoanut green curry mussels are OMG awesome if you can take a little heat. This little restaurant has fantastic views of the cover and Mt. Baker when clear. For the mussel lovers, this is the best. For the non mussel lover, they have great food.

We have a sweet little Pad Thai restaurant in an old house in Coupeville. If you are hungry for Thai, this is a good restaurant.

I love the restaurants here. It's about 35 minutes from our place and is a wonderful town to visit. We love the Calico Cupboard for breakfast and The Oyster & Thistle Restaurant and Pub for lunch or dinner. There is a wood shop in town that we are partial to and lots of art.

We like this grocery store the best for organic produce and other options for food. Since you have a full kitchen and a large refrigerator, stock up at Haggen.

Parks & Nature
We love the trails in Ebey State Park. It's very close to here and we bike there often. There are many levels of hiking trails and a long beach. Go at low tide if you want to experience the beach. There is also Pondilla lake which is a serene, quiet place to relax. Ask us for a map! And we love to give advice on the best trails!!

Meerkerk Gardens is a beautiful haven of several acres of rhododendrons and a plethora of other flowers and trees. It's gorgeous any time of the year but especially the spring when the Rhododendrons are in bloom. This is a meditative spot and serene.

This little walk in the forest is a surprising experience of art and nature. The forest walk itself is beautiful but the unique sculptures of various medium are a treat.

Sightseeing
This is a great little walking around town. You can park your car at the Coupeville ferry terminal, walk on the ferry and walk off right into Port Townsend. It's just a quaint little town on the water with good restaurants, boat building shops, and quiet.

There are wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and local shops on the water. The whale center is here and interesting. Very small but local experts are there to answer questions and there are wonderful art pieces.

For kayaking rentals, great coffee, a look at the cove, some local souvenirs, and a little food, we don't want you to miss this experience. Walk out to the end of the wharf into this little building and look around at great information about whales, seals, and other sea life. Enjoy the view from the large deck, maybe rent a kayak from Long. Kayaking is FUN in the cove.
