This is my favorite restaurant at the moment. It is Israeli food and it is delicious! I literally dream of the hummus and pita at this place. Alon Shaya, the chef, one best new restaurant in the country 2016 for this place. Definitely make reservations.

This is another one of Jay's restaurants. It is a southern, creole, Tex-Mex restaurants. Huge plates with fresh ingredients at a good price. The Margaritas are addictive.

City Park is the 87th largest and 20th-most-visited urban public park in the United States. City Park is approximately 50% larger than Central Park in New York City and designed by the same man. The park was originally a location used for dueling. In the 1800s, men would defend their pride and honor by dueling each other under the oaks at what is now City Park but then was a normally quiet spot secluded from the rest of the city. Originally, there were two "dueling oaks," but one was lost in a hurricane in 1949. The park is huge! Check out their website www.neworleanscitypark.com. Within the park is Jazz Fest, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Botanical Gardens, Storyville (for kids),etc

It's very pretty here and a great place to run or have a picnic. The zoo is also located within the park.

This is my favorite part of town. Jay and I met on Magazine. We also lived and worked there for a number of years. The entire six miles is filled with locally owned shops and restaurants. I believe it’s an entire weekend trip to just go and experience Magazine Street.
