Edenic is the word. Crystalline pools you swim through as you climb up these falls led by a guide, to a hidden cave you swim in before heading back down, ending with jumping off the 20-foot main falls.

Take a surfing lesson or just bodysurf at the spiritual centre of Jamaican surfing. Close by is great jerk at Gurley Aston. Note: on weekends there can be rather loud music played at this beach, so if you prefer a more tranquil visit go during the week.

This great intra-island bus service takes you to and from both airports, and most every town in between that you choose. From their stop in Port Antonio, we're 10 minutes' drive away by cab: use our favourite driver Petey.
