Excellent public house, completely refurbished at the end of 2016, with a warm and friendly atmosphere, including an open fire during the winter months and comfy sofas to sprawl on after your food. An extensive menu here the owners who take great care in every detail of both food and drink served.

Drinks & Nightlife
Just an amazing and atmospheric back bar with open fire and hops hanging from the ceiling. This hotel also has an excellent restaurant, but if you just fancy a drink somewhere a little different this could be the place for you, originally rebuilt in something like 1472, it is a truly original building and experience, you can also get coffee or a glass of something nice in the lounge which also has a huge open fire lit during the winter months.

Just a brilliant farm shop, selling locally sourced produce aswell as the excellent Cook! frozen food, which if you dont want to eat out everynight of your stay, but likewise would prefer not to go to too much trouble over dinner is worth stocking up on. They also sell fresh fruit and veg as you'd expect along with some very tempting speciality drinks, alcoholic and non. Very friendly and you can also get a cup of tea or coffee and a bacon sandwich here if you fancy.
