Home made breakfast snacks and desserts with great coffee drinks in a wonderful garden setting amid bohemian style decor. Inside lounge area with wood stove, and free wifi. Run by local families, Mountain Sage is my go-to spot for coffee.

Our home is just 24 miles from the Big Oak Flat entrance gate to Yosemite National Park, on Highway 120. There are also many hiking trails, picnic areas, swimming holes and fishing in the Stanislaus National Forest, between the house and Yosemite.

The community has a number of green belt areas, with developed walking trails. There are horseshoe areas and children's playgrounds in several locations in the community. The 18 hole championship golf course is open to the public, as is the local riding stables. A pool and tennis courts are available for nominal fee.
