One of my favorite places in all of Blue Ridge! Mercier Orchards is a great place to spend a day picking all different types of fruits throughout the seasons or just to enjoy a great lunch right there in the market! They have an amazing bakery, fantastic experiences, and always friendly staff!

Great summary by Atlanta Trails: Amicalola Falls is one of Georgia’s most popular state parks, so expect some company on the trail, especially on fair-weather weekends. While this hike explores some of the park’s lesser-traveled areas on this two-trail loop, the waterfall’s crest and stairs can often be busy with hikers and photographers. We usually try to catch the best views and photos of the falls in early mornings before the crowds arrive.
This trail is about 45-60 mins from the cabin. It is more difficult (LOTS of stairs) and not good for dogs (due to the stairs)
