Tō-ji is a Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect in Kyoto, situated in the southern area of Kyoto Station. Tō-ji is also well knowed for its Five-story pagoda that stands 54.8 m high, and is the tallest wooden tower in Japan. On the 21st of each month, a famous flea market is held on the grounds of Tō-ji. Here you can find a variety of antiques, art, clothes, pottery, some food, and typical second-hand flea market goods.
