Possibly our favourite tapas restaurant in Barcelona and it's in our neighborhood (el Borne). Unpretentious and reasonably priced. Excellent wine and try the calamari, oxtail, the bravas and the foie.

This place is famous as Picasso and Dali used to eat here. It's a great place to go for upscale paella or fideua (the Catalan version of paella). Expect waiters in white coats.

An incredible sushi restaurant, easily as good as Blue Ribbon in NY. Lovely decor and great service. A gem of a restaurant. Highly recommended.

The best cupcake shop in Barcelona is on the same street as the apartment - very dangerous ! All their cakes are amazing but the passion fruit cupcake is our special favourite.
