for very good coffee and comfy work-space cafe this is the go to. a couple folks here are super-kowledgable for bean and brew questions. they have a UofL location, too - good for university vibe

This place invented the Hot Brown - THE Louisville sandwich. It is a block away. The sandwich is delicious. filling for the day. but $16. without chips or fries. did i say delicious? huge & delicious
