Yes there are closer restaurants, but we never leave SA without a stop to El Bucanero. They serve by far the best Mexican Seafood we have ever tasted and we have been to most of the beaches in Mexico... Beware... They serve a lot of food. Don't be embarrassed to share and you can always add more if you are still hungry. (Which has never happened to us) Also, try the Stella Ritas! and the 4 packs of Modelos with shrimp on top!!!
