Snorkeling
S’Illot is a small and very quiet holiday area on Mallorca’s beautiful east coast. It’s about a 10 minute drive from Porto Cristo and one of the prettiest snorkeling places I love
Originally, s’Illot was a typical Mallorcan fishing village and first became known as a holiday destination through the 1980s, much later than many other of Mallorca’s many holiday destinations.
It has a rocky area you have to navigate to get into the water, built out of old stone steps, but it’s gorgeous and totally worth a morning to enjoy the pretty sights. If you are more adventurous you could also jump off the rocks nearby.

The beach is about 10 km long and extends from Sa Ràpita to Colònia de Sant Jordi. The beach has white sand, dunes, with shallow calm water. A lovely day trip I can recommend

So Punta is an absolutely amazing restaurant right on the water. The service is terrific and the scenery is just beautiful. It is on the pricey side but definitely worth a visit, they have local musicians performing Jazz and it’s all just the perfect combination for a wonderful night or they do lunch as well. This restaurant is owned by Rafa Nadals family and you can see that they spared no expense in their service and quality of the food and view. I love this restaurant and will definitely go back. Please make sure you call ahead because they may be booked full. If you don’t want to have dinner you can just go and have a drink at the bar to enjoy the view and ambience which is just as lovely.

The Caves are an amazing place to visit near the apartment, they charge an entry fee and usually have tours every hour - just check the times for different seasons

Great for all your groceries, they have meats, veggies and alcohol, a good supermarket a couple minutes walk from the apartment. Take bags with you if you don't want to pay for bags

Sunday Farmers Market in the town
Porto Cristo Market. Fruit and vegetables, textiles and Mallorcan artisan products. Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm at Passeig de sa Sirena, near the marina and the beach of Porto Cristo. It is a small market that sells fruit, vegetables, baked goods and clothes, trickets & jewelry, The market is held in front of the sea with beautiful views of the beach and the entrance of the marina.
