You can walk to Stanage from our house. It's lovely in any weather and there are easy ways to wander up as well of loads of climbs.

Hire bikes and cycle around the reservoirs - fantastic views and only a 10 minute drive from our house. There is also a great wild swimming spot - Slippery Stones - halfway around.
Even if you don't fancy the cycling, it's a nice place for a stroll and a coffee.
