Breweries and Happy Hour

This is one of my favorites in New Brunswick. There are some pretty delicious beer options on tap. The brewery and taproom are located in an industrial park, but well worth the drive or bike. If you happen to run into the owner at the brewery, tell him you are a guest at my place. My beers (I don't mind hoppy) Coastal Good Life Session IPA (4.7% ABV and 44 IBUs) Whoopie Kat New England IPA (6.0% ABV and 43 IBUs) You can't go wrong with a Test Flight. Try 4 different beers There are always some great pilots as well... BONUS: This place doesn't have a kitchen, but you can bring in your own food. Grab some grub or make it a picnic.

This brewery is within walking distance from the Lodge. It has a great friendly atmosphere. My go to Beer here is Re-Alignment (Juicy Pale Ale A well-balanced hazy pale ale with hints of tropical fruits and a creamy mouth feel. This approachable take on a modern IPA is refreshing and delicious.) BONUS: This place doesn't have a kitchen, but you can bring in your own food. Grab some grub or make it a picnic.

This is another great brewery in Moncton. This was one of the first local breweries. They have a few great selections and the best price in town for a pint as far as I know. My go to here is the Pail Ale (An aromatic bouquet of hops and citrus fruits in our take on a pale ale. The medium bodied maltiness leads to a smooth, lingering finish and screams at you to have another! 5.0% ABV) They also have a great Crafty Radler )Grapefruit & Tangerine Pale pink in colour. 50% High-gravity beer combined with 50% grapefruit and tangerine craft soda made in-house. 4.7% ABV) and a few other non-beer options if you don't feel like beer.
