This is like the times square of Toronto. Lot of lights, screens, live music in the square and activities. The Eaton Centre has all the shopping you would need. There are many restaurants with many types of food. Movie theater, Bars and Adult Entertainment.

Streetcars are great to get east and west
Just 2 blocks up from the house there is Queen St. You can get a "Presto" card from Shoppers drug mart and put money on it to use on the streetcar. There are a variety of options in terms of individual trip, daily or monthly. Kids under 12 are free. The Streetcar can take you downtown or east to the beaches.
There are also ride share bikes that are a lot of fun to use and very cost efficient. They are located right at the top of Morse St (where the house is) and Eastern.
