Casa Bartolo Restaurant: a simple and nice place to have some real spanish food. Its located in the Auditorium and Congress Palace of Águilas, a modern building in the downtown. After having lunch or dinner, you can have a nice walk along the beach and get to know the center of Águilas.

Our favorite ice cream in town! We love to go there in the end of the afternoon, to have a walk in this lovely area, see the boats in the sea and have an ice cream in the main square of the city.

Famous restaurant of Águilas, they serve a very good spanish and mediterranean food. Its not far from our condominiun, like 22 min walking (1,7km) or 3 min by car. Better to make a reservation of you want to have dinner there in summer time.

Cute little square from Aguilas town, with many restaurants and stores and the beautiful Saint Joseph Church in it. Its a nice walk to see and feel the spanish culture.

A grain mill from the 19th century that is currently in disuse and has been rehabilitated. From here the views are very cool to the entire Levante bay. There is also an Interpretation Center with free admission.

Águilas weekly market, or Jumble sale market, it happens every saturday from 9h to 13h. It has a big variety of fruits and vegetables from the Murcian farming, also some tipical products like cheese, jamon (pork meat) and sausage. Its an interesting place to go!

Playas
La Playa Amarilla, or Yellow Beach in english, is the closest beach to our apartment and its like 5 min walking from the condominium. From all the beaches I got the chance to know in the region this is my favorite by far. Warm and totally clean and transparent water, perfect to take a bath with the kids and have hours of fun doing scuba diving. Dont forget to bring diving goggles to the entire family! Sometimes you can came up with a jellyfish, so be careful with the kids. The good thing of having such a clearly water is that you can see them coming from far.
La Playa Amarilla

Among its numerous Roman ruins, is the theater of the 1st century BC. and the Casa de la Fortuna, a villa with murals and mosaics. Its 75km far from Águilas, like 50 min by car, so if you have the chance to go for a little trip, this town is very nice and offer many good seafood restaurants.
