Indoors there is a wonderful pool, with slides, rock walls, a lazy river and a zero entry pool, great for the kids. Or check out a ball and shoot some hoops in the double sided gym. Lift weights, or take classes, it is all open to the public for a daily fee.

Colorado weather is very bipolar, dress for everything.
Wether you are traveling in January or June, you really do need to be ready for everything. I always recommend dressing in layers, and always bringing a coat just in case. While the snowiest months are usually between November to April, we can get snow anytime from September to June. We can also have beautiful hot sunny days all throughout the winter, so don't count on any temperature estimates. With all the sunshine, sunscreen is a must up here and wearing a hat is a great idea too. We are closer to the sun, than a lot of other places, and your skin will burn faster than you think.

The Saturday farmer's market is a must
The town of Berthoud will have a farmers market all throughout the summer months, that is a great way to experience the local scene. From fresh honey, to custom made jewelry, it is a fun place to wander and see, and is just a short walking distance away at Fickel Park.
