Leighton Hall is a historic house west of Yealand Conyers in Carnforth. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England and has lovely grounds and gardens. Great for weddings and corporate events. They have a tour of the house, a Birds of Prey display for guests daily at 3:30pm (weather permitting), there is a playground for children and tea rooms. www.leightonhall.co.uk

Fantastic atmosphere with many period rooms at this genuine station museum e.g., the Station Master's Office, period waiting rooms, period history rooms, period station cafe with (some alcoholic beverages), complete with ancient tea dispensers and equipment manned by very friendly and helpful staff.
