Sushi and Poke bowl served 3 minutes away from our house. Decor is OK but food is good! This is a locals favorite place and very convenient. check opening hours and it's not opened all the time!

The outdoor terrace facing the golf course and mountains is pretty especially at sunset time and allows for a more elevated quiet experience. Lunch sandwiches and dinner entrees are really good and staff is really nice. Kid Friendly and nice views!

This open-air desert museum features an offbeat collection of found folk-art assemblages surprising and though provoking! amazing collection of art. Each piece is fascinating. The backgrounds and the desert setting add a really cool atmosphere as well. The museum is really close to the entrances to Joshua Tree National Park and so it is well worth stopping by on the way to the park. It's free to get in and wander around - The whole family can enjoy!

Dabah’s acreage is not open to the public, but the sculptures are in plain view. His six acre parcel sits on a corner and is enclosed in chain link fencing. You can easily walk the perimeter of the fence and see many of the sculptures. Dabah’s site isn’t far from the Purifoy museum acreage as the crow flies, but don’t trust the Google directions. It will send you down a series of increasingly sandy dirt roads which aren’t suitable for a passenger car. Double back to the highway and re-map it from there
