Echo Bay is home to the artist who created the original loonie - visit the giant loonie, as well, near the Loonie Monument, come visit the beautiful nature boardwalk. With over 2200 ft of wheelchair accessible paths to explorer, you will see some excellent views of Provincially significant wetlands. Along the way, you will find several rest areas with interesting information about the neighbouring wetland. Public washrooms are available beside the Environmental Centre adjacent to the Boardwalk and the Loonie Park

Located in Echo Bay, only 20 minutes from the Hide Away, this is nice and close for beer, wine or spirits you may require. There is a blender at the cottage, and ice at the gas bar, also in Echo Bay.
