It is considered a national marine park, it is a protected natural area, it has a lot of marine life, white sand and turquoise sea, this site is visited on a combined tour with other places of snorkeling, dolphins and sloths, food is not included but the guides take you to a good restaurant where you can eat and enjoy a delicious Caribbean dish. For this tour I highly recommend my dad as he is one of the best and you won't regret it.

Zapatilla Island
It is considered a national marine park, it is a protected natural area, it has a lot of marine life, white sand and turquoise sea, this site is visited on a combined tour with other places of snorkeling, dolphins and sloths, food is not included but the guides take you to a good restaurant where you can eat and enjoy a delicious Caribbean dish. For this tour I highly recommend my dad as he is one of the best and you won't regret it.
for me it is my favorite beach, a place where you will find few people and a lot of nature for you, it is reached through a walk along a rustic path of dirt, roots and grass, a true natural experience the travel time is from 15 to 20 minutes walk , there you can experience nature to the extreme and with the walk a slight exercise, the beach is one of the largest and full of sand, it is a beach with waves so you must be careful, the photos I uploaded are from dry months without waves all that is seasonal here. There is no restaurant on the beach. You must bring snacks and water.
I personally recommend not to bring money or many valuables, because someone can pass through the tall grass and take things from the beach. if you carry something, hide it very well, or be aware at all times, but if you want to be in peace, it is better to leave things at home.
but I highly recommend this beach because unlike red frog there is no entrance fee.
I do not recommend a woman go alone, there are always male surfers and of course you never know.

If you want to try a delicious meal with organic and natural ingredients and some harvested in Basti, you must visit coco hill . Michelle prepares delicious vegan & vegetarian food and also there is a lot of nature to see.

For me, the best ceviche that I have tried is in this place, the truth is that it is very tasty, it is located on a small beach and in a small place near Bastimentos named Carenero Island there is beautiful sunsets and pleasant atmosphere and and great happy hour.
