Off-the-beaten path, offering tea and homemade cakes and beautiful views during the day, and fondue for those willing to venture out in the evening and into the depth of the night (reservation for fondue critical!).
Following your tea break, continue walking down to Ringlikon and hop on the train back to Zurich HB.

We’re lucky to enjoy an extremely reliable public transportation network throughout Switzerland and an app that makes finding routes, determining schedules and buying tickets superbly easy. I highly recommend downloading it: look for “SBB Mobile” in your app store. Also, good to know: if you’re planing to travel further afield, an “SBB Half Fare Travelcard” quickly pays for itself.
