The most popular beach that has received a rating as one of the 10 best beaches in the world is TRUNK BAY. It has many amenities such as showers, restaurant{Be careful of the Gulls they can steal you food}. They also offer snorkeling equipment rental. The daily cost is $4 per person. All other beaches on the Island are FREE.

The people ferries from Red Hook St.Thomas (eastern end) to Cruz Bay St.John run every hour on the hour. There are people ferries that take you into the heart of downtown St.Thomas. Schedules vary and at times change. You may get the latest information from the service booth at the ferry dock. There are 3 car barge companies. All run on their own schedule and all run independently from one another. If you’re an avid explorer and want to vist all the other islands near by its a great idea to pack your passport. Many of the Islands visible from St.John especially toward the east are British owned. All are very Beautiful but I recommend Virgin Gorda and their famous rock formations right on the beach. The area is called “The Baths” especially since one volcanic rock formation is somewhat enclosed and looks like a natural bath pool. It’s amazing to explore. The islands style of a hot pocket or empanada. A pastry turnover stuffed with your choice of beef, chicken, salt (cod) fish, couch and other savory ingredients. Very delicious and satisfying!

An entire meal stuff inside a special flaky bread. Most have chicken but depending on who you asked it can be almost any meal. Really worth a try!
