This is our absolute favorite restaurant in the area. They do not take reservations so get there early, especially on the weekends. They claim to be Wisconsin’s #1 supper club and we believe them. The restaurant has multiple bars, beautiful grounds you can explore, and overlooks Mirror Lake.

This is another great Wisconsin supper club. Their Friday fish fry is excellent and very reasonably priced. They make a good old fashioned so being a mere 10 minute walk is beneficial. They do take reservations and during busy times we recommend that. They have good happy hour specials as well.

The best place on Lake Delton. This restaurant has a nice dock for your boat and excellent outdoor dining. This is the type of place you can hang out all afternoon or take your special someone for dinner. Order the peel & eat shrimp!

No, it is not THAT Denny’s. This local favorite is our go to breakfast spot. Decorated with a yesteryear theme you won’t be disappointed with the prices or the food. Their homemade pecan and cinnamon rolls are excellent.

We go to this place for breakfast. I have never had lunch or dinner here. Their portions are extremely generous, their pancakes are delicious, and their corned beef hash is some of the best I’ve had. They may have an acoustic guitar player if you get lucky.

Inexpensive and authentic! You will not find a lot of tourists here. You will find Mexicans and locals flocking for the excellent tacos. Stop in for lunch or carry out. These tacos remind me of a place in Hermasillo…they are that good.

Take the kids here. Arrive right when they open and you won’t regret it. Buy at least one package of crackers for each person in your group when you are paying for your entry. Get your camera ready because these photos will make your Christmas letter this year.

Is it a zoo? Is it a park? Is it an immersive interactive learning experience? Yes, it is all of these things. It seems that this place gets better each year. The Parakeet Encounter is a kid’s favorite where they will be surrounded by birds wanting to eat from their hands. We have not done the train ride so we cannot comment on that.

In the interest of full disclosure, I haven’t done this. However, my kids (pre-teen through teens) think it is great so I would recommend it as a rainy day option when an indoor venue is needed. This is an interactive game played in a 13,000 sq foot wizard themed world. It gets very good online reviews to support my kid’s opinions as well.

However, my kids (pre-teen through teens) think it is great so I would recommend it as a rainy day option when an indoor venue is needed. This is an interactive game played in a 13,000 sq foot wizard themed world. It gets very good online reviews to support my kid’s opinions as well.

Both are very similar tours and they do a great job with dumb (but funny) jokes and they take you through some breathtakingly beautiful sites. The Original Wisconsin Ducks seem to have more land than water. The Dells Army Ducks seem to have more water than land. Both tours stop short of the finish to try and sell you touristy junk. We always politely decline but we do tip the driver.
This company offers some other fun adventures as well. I really enjoyed the Wildthing! jet boat tour. It is a tour of the upper dells that has some history and geology mixed with rock n roll. It is about 2 hours all total with about an hour on the actual boat. You will get wet. I have not done the Bigfoot Zipline but my some of my family members have and they really had fun with it as well.

They claim the title of Wisconsin’s Largest Candy Store and is home to over 1,000 varieties. They also are the home of an ice cream shop stocked with a variety of flavors of hard-packed as well as many gelato’s. There is a second location on Broadway.
