This restaurant is on the seafront and has excellent value for money. Very large portions of very good quality seafood dishes with great views of Koule castle with very lively atmosphere. Just keep in mind that everyday it's full both for lunch and dinner so I suggest you book a table early!!!

An old mansion was transformed to an alternative rock bar where generations of local young people spent most of their teenage years (myself included). Excellent atmosphere and good prices. There are various rooms including a patio so depending on the type of quiet or noisy night you want to have you can choose the relevant room. It's one of the iconic bars in Heraklion where mostly local young people go. Highly recommended
