This place has the best cocktails in the city, everything is top-shelf, great happy our everyday 5:30-7:30, the vibe is super chill and it's in 'Alphabet City' in lower Manhattan. Most tourists won't make it here but it's definitely worth the visit.

This place has pricey drinks but the rooftop bar has amazing views and it's near Lincoln Center and the MET Opera House.

This is the best BBQ restaurant in the city. The prices are good and the food is excellent! If you like to eat ribs, brisket, pulled-pork, and BBQ chicken wings, then this is the place for you. It's located in west Harlem directly near the Hudson river. You can walk down the Hudson River pathway to walk-off the calories from the meal and watch the sunset :)

Best Brunch in NYC! They filmed a Woody Allen movie here that prominently featured the restaurant. It's in the East Village, and very cool. The food is excellent, I recommend the Moroccan Eggs Benedict, they come with a spicy tomato chutney, and coffee or cappuccino, and a small glass of fresh squeezed OJ all included for 16 bucks. The neighborhood is fun to walk around. St. Marks is an NYC classic.

Very good NYC pizza made by Sam, a real old Italian guy and his son. It's down the street from the apartment. Good if you plan to stay in and relax with a movie.

Central Park North is a great place to go for a run or a walk. It's much more chill than the southern part of the park where it's filled with many people. If you're here during the summer you can wait in line in the park and get free tickets to Shakespeare in the park theater performances that take place inside the park's Delacorte Theater. Each year a very famous person always plays the lead role.
