Sightseeing
Beautiful 2 hr drive winding through the Gila National Forest where you will see spectacular views of the Mimbers River, Lake Roberts and the Gila River. If you look closely you might see some deer or Elk along the way. Be sure to pack a lunch not many stores along the way but many great Picnic spots. There are a wide variety of hiking trails located all along the way and it is about a mile round trip to see the dwellings so wear walking shoes. There are also natural hot springs in this area. Be sure to stop at Doc Cambles store for homemade ice cream on the way out. Be safe and enjoy your stay.

Catwalk Recreation Area

There is also a fish hatchery along the way that you can tour and the Town of Glenwood has a store for picnic supplies.
