This is a nice neighborhood pub just south of us on Austin Ave. Good pub food, nice salads and extensive beer selections.

Sightseeing
A nice park at the end of the bay. Can get busy at times. A boatlaunch with nice dock. Good view up the inlet and a good spot to watch wildlife.
Park has a coffee and ice cream shop, Fish n Chips in the summer, a playground for the kids, Kayak rental shop and a nice Bayside resturaunt for an evening out.
There's a nice trail and boardwalk around the end of the bay, great wildlife viewing areas. There's a heron nursery on the far side which is raucous in season! The trail ends in another park across the bay.
Good access to the multiple breweries across the street and the museum.

Rocky Point Park

A small park on the shadow of the Port Mann Bridge straddling the Fraser River.

At low tide there are many small pocket beaches that show up along the river downstream of the bridge. There are goat trails cut through the brambles. A very nice spot on a hot afternoon. (just don't tell too many people ok?)
Upstream of the bridge here is a trail that leads to the mouth of the Coquitlam river, and trails give access to Colony farms. Watch for returning Salmon in season, it's a slowly rebuilding population!
