In the heart of OKC, Bricktown offers some dining and shops to see - and a nice river canal to walk along. The river stretches from the middle of the city, out toward the highway providing a nice long walk, or hop on a boat for a river cruise. I would say it's more sightseeing than food scene, though there are definitely a lot of spots in Bricktown you can find to grab a beer, soda, or meal.

Great spot to take the family, or go by yourself for HOURS of fascination and learning. We have an yearly pass and go about once every week or so for several hours. They have live shows, a planetarium, tinker shops, and endless learning for all ages.

On a day where the weather is nice, the OKC zoo is a fantastic find and you could easily spend most if not the whole day there looking at animals, watching the different shows and performances, playing on playgrounds and splash pads.
