It combines several architectural styles: Romanesque style there is the façade and extremely Evangelistachapel illustrate the Gothic style. The architect Nasoni made several modifications in the Baroque period , like the galileeof the lateral façade. From the baroque one must also highlightthe main altar , in silver . Already in the 19th Century , there is a sculture by Teixeira Lopes, in the Batismal Chapel , with deserves to be admired. The Cathedral has 3 organs and fine acoustics, wich makes the concerts magical , particulary at night and by the candles , as in the Chritsmas seasoon.
