The surrounding houses were leather processing units - tanneries, and the location is very iconic. Also, a few years ago, some scenes from a Hollywood movie were filmed there. "The Two Faces of January" with Viggo Mortensen and Kirsten Dunst.
Keep in mind that, this place has a lot of demand, and before you go there, it is better to have a reservation.

From the parking area to go down to the beach you will need about 15 min walking. This beach is mostly visited by tourists, and it is better to go there before noon to avoid the crowd. Also, upon request, we can arrange a speedboat to take you there from the sea!

My favorite running routes.
This place is where I did my master studies. It is perfect if you want to go for some running with nice views. The campus is encircled by a 2.5km road. You will see a lot of locals and students running, walking and cycling. Finally, you won't see a lot of cars.
