I take Roman here almost everyday because of the massive fields. They have decent trails but I would go to either raven rock or Anderson creek trail if you want to go to a trail. If you want to bring your pup and tire him/her out by throwing the ball around, bring them here

A little further than the rest of the parks but we recommend going here if you planned on going to Southern Pines and to the recommended food places over there. We wish this park was closer because how great it is.

Food Recommendations
There’s two in Lillington: A restaurant and a taco stand. They make all their tortillas in house and they’re pretty good overall.
We recommend going to the Taco stand if you want to eat outside.

People absolutely love this place. More of a mom and pop Indian place (ran by 1st generation Family). True story, first time I went here I noted to the owner all the awards on their walls from the previous years for their food that they had won. Someone eating spoke up and told me “this is the best restaurant in Fayetteville”. Although I disagree, the food was really good and I think you’ll enjoy it if you like Indian food and you’re in the area.

To add a little bit of credibility, I grew up on Long Island, NY and spent the first 21 years of my life eating NYs best pizza. Coming from someone who thought all pizza outside of NY was subpar, this pizza is 100% worth the trip. To be fair, it is not NY style pizza as you can see in the pictures.
They make their dough from locally milled products and combined it with flour from Italy and the result is extremely flavorful crust That they cook on a wood fire.
It also has a homemade ice cream shop about 500 feet away in a REALLY nice area Cary. Highly recommend
