La breva is a lovely place in Onno, we love to sit at their terrace by the lake and order sparkling white wine from the house, spaghetti vongole or risotto al pesce persico and small fried fishes (pesciolini fritti) that you eat whole. They have very good food typical from this area.

La fornace it’s a restaurant bar on the lake, the food is simple but the atmosphere is very nice and good for drinks.
They have a small play area so it’s perfect to go with kids as well!

This place is very good for the typical food. It’s only indoors and has no view but the food is amazing so it’s perfect when it’s cold or bad weather.

La mandragola is located in our town Valbrona. It’s only 5 minutes drive from us and 25 min by foot. They also has home delivery so you can enjoy your meal at the terrace at home. They have good pizza and all classical Italian dishes.

Neighbourhoods
Onno is a great place for staying by the beach, go to a beach bar or restaurant.
It’s not so touristic like the other side of the lake, you can enjoy the real Italian way of life. From our house it takes about 40 min to walk on a beautiful hiking trail, or 8 minutes by car.

This is a great hiking trail starting nearby our house. Rifugio sev is a restaurant so if it’s open you can have a good meal when you arrive to the top.

If you want to go to rifugio sev, you can park next to this bar. Here you can have something to eat and drink or just a hot chocolate. If you don’t want to go the whole way to rifugio sev you can walk a little bit around this bar and it’s a great view of the mountains.
