Two minutes from our bnb. Recently renovated to be the first carbon neutral bakery that uses zero fossil fuels! Of course they have bagels, coffee and baked goods, but they also have a wood fire pizza oven in a cute kiosk with outside picnic tables. Great place for grab -n-go food.

Delicious food, large comfortable rooms, friendly staff, reasonable prices. My husband loves the lobster quesadilla and margaritas, I love the sangria and fish tacos. We bring our out of town guests here for a good meal.

The reservoir has a promenade where you can park and walk on a flat gravel walkway, or walk down to the waters edge. there is no swimming in the reservoir as it is nyc drinking water, but its lovely and inspiring.

Fresh mountain air, breath taking views and beautiful nature trails. One of my favorite places.

Super Cool Experience!
Worlds largest Kaleidoscope!! This is the best, most psychedelic $5 you will spend on your vacation, and it is 5 mins away from our Airstream. Do call ahead for hours. They have just reopened, since COVID. But it is by far my favorite place to bring out-of-towners.
There is the worlds largest kaleidoscope on site with a cool show. Some people don’t know this but you can lay on the carpeted floor for the show. I’m only 5’3” and the standing head rests are a bit uncomfortable for me.
There is also a kaleidoscope store where they are for sale, they are all works of art by true artists, for a very special gift idea.

This is a great souvenir shop, selling colorful gifts, practical camping and outdoors wear (things you might have forgot to bring with you, like warm comfortable clothing, the worlds softest socks, sweat shirts, hats…but really quality ones, not tacky wear ones items.) also chocolates, candles, post cards, and large kids toy section.
If you forgot to bring something on your vaca, this place probably has it. And all of their merch is quality and currently fashionable. Also it is right by Breios, so stop there for pizza!
