I can recommend a wine tasting - friendly and informative staff. Lovely place to sit in the garden on a warm day but they do have some indoor seating as well.

I do like this place. Lovely sunny front verandah where you can people watch whilst enjoying coffee and yummy cake.

You absolutely cannot visit Arrowtown without having a venison pie from the Arrowtown Bakery. Sit in the park over the road, or take it home and cook up some nice wholesome vegetables for an all-round good meal.

Nice beer garden when it's warm enough, although inside is cozy and quaint with a fabulous atmosphere. Good pizza and a huge selection of craft beer.

Take a drive in the summer to Coronet Peak for spectacular views over the Wakatipu Basin. It's about 15 minute's drive to the turn off and then 10 minutes drive up to the ski area.

Make sure you visit the Chinese village in Arrowtown. It's just incredible what the hardy Chinese endured to get some precious gold from the Arrow River. While you're there take a stroll, or a jog if you are up to it, around the Anniversary Track which is a circular route down and around the beautiful and peaceful Arrow River.

This is our home club and of course we love it. Like Andrew Daddo said on the Golf Show "it's like playing golf in a painting" - the scenery is to die for and the course is one of a kind. Only bunker is on the practice fairway but be wary, there are plenty of hazards on this course.

Remember drive on the left !! For Australians NZ is super easy - same side of the road and same road rules. There is a small petrol station in Arrowtown which is really handy.

You can go anywhere on the Queenstown network for just $2 with a GoCard, plus you’ll get a free 30-minute transfer with a GoCard.
You can get a GoCard from your bus driver for $5. The minimum top up for GoCards is $10. GoCards can be topped up anywhere that they’re sold.
You don’t need a GoCard to take the bus, you can pay for your fare with cash. However, a cash fare is $5 per trip for an adult and $4 for a child – and for trips that begin or end at the airport, the cash fare is $10. It’s cheaper with GoCard.
