Haddon Hall is a stunning & very photogenic example of Tudor architecture. Visit the famous great hall and wander the beautiful gardens. Described as the best-kept house to have survive the Middle Ages. It’s a 5 minute drive from Bakewell

10 min drive from Netherhust, take a left on the top road and then the first left. This leads you down to Derwent where you can hire bikes. This is a great cycle route and spectacular views for miles

Hathersage pool is one of the few remaining “lidos” it’s in the centre of the village and is extremely popular on a hot summers day but if you prefer it with out the crowds try it out of season. Check out the opening times online

North Lee’s Hall is only a short walk from Netherhust and is considered to be the inspiration for the vicarage in the novel Jane Eyre. Charlotte Bronte is said to have stayed in the area when writing her novel and used many local spots as inspiration. These spots also appear in the latest film.
