There is so much to see and do or just relax and enjoy the serenity.
There is something for everyone right on your doorstep. There are many beaches along the coast road to discover: STANWELL PARK BEACH is a 2 minute drive down the hill and is your closest beach. The next beach is COALCLIFF which also has a beautiful Rockpool and is great for the kids. Take care when walking on the rock platform as it can get very slippery due to moss build up. SCARBOROUGH BEACH follows and then WOMBARRA, COLEDALE, AUSTINMER and THIRROUL. Most of these beaches are patrolled so please swim between the flags.
Coledale public school hosts the markets which are held on the 4th Sunday of the month. These markets are quite popular and items are unique and by local crafts people.
For the real adventurers try HANG GLIDING with an experienced instructor. This is located just across the road from your stay.
Lawrence Hargrave Memorial Site has a dedicated statue with information about this historical flight pioneer.
There are bushwalking tracks from this point and views which are regarded as the best on the south coast. On a clear day you can see all the way down to Nowra. The iconic Sea Cliff Bridge is a must see and an engineering masterpiece. A cantilever construction which spans out over the ocean below. You can make your way to the bridge via Stanwell Pk walking track which begins at Murrawal Rd. If you would prefer to just walk the bridge parking is available at Coalcliff on Patterson Rd. Be mindful that during peak seasons and weekends parking can be difficult. For this reason it is a good idea to start at Stanwell Park.

Garie beach is located in the Royal National Park. There is a kiosk. There are some really secluded beaches near Garie such as Era and Burning Palms. These are some moderately difficult walks but are well worth the effort.

Secluded Bulgo beach with its famous beach shacks and history is accessed by a walking track down the hill through the bush. It takes about 15/20mins down and roughly 35 minutes back up (depending on fitness levels). Located a couple of kilometres from the stay, you can either walk from Interbane to Bald Hill and around to Bulgo Beach via a track which runs behind the cafe and amenities block or drive and park at the entrance which is located opposite the Otford Pie shop.
