Indoor and outdoor viewing areas for hawk and bird watching. Full-time naturalist on staff. Gift shop and self-service Cafe area. art exhibits. Paved and gravel trails for enjoyment of all levels of mobility.
Party barn which can be rented for private events. Programs for adults & children throughout the year including summer camp. beautiful naturalist outdoor playground for the children. Great place to go learn about birds, and migration of birds throughout the year. annual Fall festival.
Impressive museum in downtown Greenwich walking distance to the Bruce park playground, with a wonderful assortment of exhibits and programming for all ages. Includes geology wing, and permanent exhibit of Connecticut native American history including interactive Hands-On elements and displays of artifacts. also has a coastal exhibit on permanent display with various aquatic specimens. there are usually two to three exhibits on display, masterfully curated.
the museum is currently under expansion and renovation to showcase its extensive permanent collection and add a cafe. they're already exist so lovely gift shop and children's program room as well as community room which usually showcases community art projects and hosts various programs. kits for children to enjoy the museum or available at check in.
