Very popular place. Call ahead if on a Saturday to see about reservations. This restaurant is also a functioning Post Office. They have big portions so easy to share a meal. The location of Murphy's offers scenic views when driving out to eat there.

They offer local beers on tap and have a great bar selection. This is a local favorite with a great view of the Colorado River and Historic Bastrop Bridge. Neighbor's is one of my personal favorites.

Carne Lenta has some of the best tacos around! They have a great vibe inside and out. This used to be the old Vasek Automotive. I would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner and relaxing on the patio. They are soon offering live music and a full bar.
