Getting Around
These guys are great! Renting at the airport is a mess, they are alsways too busy and you have to wait so long to check in and out and you have to pay airport taxes. With CarVenience you don't have to pay those taxes and it is so easy and convenient.

Parks & Nature
This is our evening sunset beach, about a 5 minute drive, great for an evening run then a swim. Fun to hear the Pirates Ship antics on board. Great for snorkeling and fishing too.

Another of our favorite beaches, I recommend this beach for the morning before the tour boats come in. If you get there early you can have the beach to yourself and the snorkeling is one of the best on the island.

Food Scene
On our first night we typically go here for dinner. Being out on the pier is wonderful with the breeze and you can see the sunset while you are eating if you are an early diner.

Worth the drive! A true locals spot, they only take cash dollars and florins so plan ahead. We usually go to Baby Beach then plan on lunch or dinner here.

We actually prefer to cook in, but one of our favorite foods is sushi. On our first visit we were totally impressed with the quality and assortment. They also serve Chinese, Teppanyaki and Hibachi so there is something for everyone.

Right down the street another true locals place. The whole BBQ chicken is outstanding. When you drive by you can't help but smell the food when the BBQ is lite. Great place to watch sports too!

We are so very lucky to have this wonderful restaurant right in our complex! The owners Ricardo and Julie are so delightful and the staff very hospitable. Will the bartender is outstanding and to top that off the food is just as good as the staff!

I suggest you always ask for the freshest local fish, some fish is imported like the salmon. The grouper is usually the best choice. They do have the option of grilling or frying the fish for you to take home to eat. Be aware they stop preparing food to take out at 6:30.
